Easter salad is a traditional dish made for Easter in many countries around the world. This salad symbolizes renewal and resurrection, which makes it especially popular during this holiday. The classic Easter salad includes eggs, vegetables, herbs, and meat or ham. However, there are many variations of this dish, and everyone can choose the ingredients to their taste. Try my version of making and decorating the salad as a colored egg.
Ingredients:
2 eggs
4 Tablespoons grated cheese
5-6 oz red cabbage
1/4 carrots
5 cherry tomatoes
4 tbsp cor
4 pickled garlic
4 oz ham
5 tbsp ranch sauce
1 tbsp capers
1/4 chili for decoratio
leeks, dill, parsley
pinch each salt and black pepper.
1 tsp. lemon juice.
Instructions:
1. Boil eggs, peel. Cut the ham and eggs into small cubes.
2. Shred the red cabbage finely. Salt and pepper it, add lemon juice. Lightly rub the cabbage with your hands. Grate carrots on a grater. Cut tomatoes into quarters.
3. Use an oval plate for decoration. Place half of the corn on one edge. Next strip cabbage. Place similar strips symmetrically.
4. Behind the cabbage place the ham and cheese. Lightly tamp the products.
5. Place tomatoes in the center of the plate. Along the edges – shredded eggs.
6. Finely chop the greens and place around the perimeter of the salad. Decorate the salad with garlic slices, chili and leek slices and capers.
7. Spread a thin mesh of ranch dressing over the salad.
Serve the salad with the ranch dressing.
