Start by rolling out one pie crust.
Spread strawberry jam on top, leaving about a ½ inch gap around the edge. Try not to make it too thick where it wants to squeeze out the sides.
Place the second pie crust evenly on top.
Use your heart shaped cookie cutter to begin cutting out hearts. Put them close together, so you can get as many as possible. I got about 8 hearts.
Using a fork, press your edges together, firmly.
Coat the top of each pop tart with melted butter, before placing in the oven.
Bake at 325 degrees for 10 minutes, or until golden brown. Let cool.
Place your melting chocolate in a microwave safe bowl. Microwave in 45 seconds intervals, stirring after, until fully melted and smooth. Pour into a pipping bag.
Cut a small tip off.
Carefully pipe your melted chocolate on top of your pop tarts. Sprinkle with Valentine’s Day sprinkles.
Serve and enjoy this tasty little breakfast treat.
